To celebrate the first anniversary of our company’s rebranding, Aulds Delicious Desserts decided to develop a product which both celebrated our innovation and also highlighted the luxurious qualities of our desserts. Our Development Team worked with the UK’s leading supplier of culinary branded alcohol, Thomas Lowndes and came up with the concept of a Rhubarb & Custard Tart infused with Courvoisier VS Cognac.

The Courvoisier brand is recognized worldwide for its premium quality. This fit’s extremely well with our own range of desserts which are luxurious, indulgent and hand-made using the finest ingredients.

As well as adding value and reinforcing the premium nature of the dessert the addition of Courvoisier greatly enhances the flavour of the tart. The smooth, rounded flavour of the Courvoisier works extremely well with the tartness of the rhubarb giving a sophisticated, delicious eat quality.

The dessert was launched in June 2009 and has already proven to be a great success. It is available to order from numerous Independent & National Foodservice wholesalers throughout the UK.
