Asian DessertsDuring a two month period our Development & Marketing Teams visited a variety of Asian Restaurants (including Indian, Tandoori, Chinese, Thai & Japanese) to analyse their dessert offering. From this analysis it was ascertained that in the majority of restaurants the offering was fairly poor. Discussions with both Restaurant Managers & Staff highlighted a gap in the market for a range of light desserts with innovative Asian flavour profiles. Our talented development team then began work on a range of indulgent Asian style ‘freezer to table’ desserts. After analysing various ingredients and flavour profiles an exciting range of 5 innovative desserts were launched: Individual squares of digestive biscuit base with a light, creamy lime & Cardomon mousse, topped with juicy redcurrants flooded with raspberry gel. Individual Square of biscuit base with a hint of Cardamom topped with a layer of mango, Coconut, and Yoghurt Mousse. Finished with a lime & strawberry marbled gel.. A layer of vanilla sponge soaked with lemon syrup topped with a pineapple mousse. Finished with a peach glaze and dark chocolate and vanilla flavoured spinning. A moist layer of chocolate fudge cake, surrounded by light chocolate mousse with flake. Finished with a stunning chocolate glaze, decorated with sweet toasted coconut. Individual Squares of light Chocolate Biscuit Base topped with a refreshing passion & coconut mousse, finished with a striking orange & raspberry marbled topping.
